CIENA occupies a luminous corner on Alfonso Reyes in the Condesa, a neighbourhood restaurant designed by Lanza Atelier that moves seamlessly from morning pastries to afternoon wine-and-tapas to Mediterranean-leaning dinners. The kitchen, run today under chef Mario Pérez Terán and originally built by chefs Nidia Kossio and Pavi Ancheta, emphasises seasonal produce and artisan in-house production-ricotta, mascarpone, fresh baking. The terrace and open kitchen keep the corner spot busy from sunrise coffee through late dinner, and it has become a dependable, pet-friendly Condesa staple.
